About me
Hi there!
My name is Arminas Keršys, I’m passionate about technology, open source software, hardware, Linux, Windows operating systems.
I specialize in networking, firewalls (pfSense, OPNsense, OpenWRT), Docker containers, DNS management and web server operations. Experience with type-1 hypervisors, KVM virtualization, OpenVZ, LXC containers.
Experimenting with my Homelab infrastructure, currently running Proxmox KVM hypervisor, virtualizing pfSense as home router with network card PCI-e passthrough, hosting Linux VM’s for deploying Docker containers, VPN servers, apache2 websites, NGINX proxy managers, etc. Virtualizing Windows on Proxmox with GPU passthrough for a remote work/gaming VM with the help of applications like Parsec or Moonlight.
My other hobbies include tinkering with Android devices, for example: Porting UEFI bootloader, loading custom operating systems like Windows and Linux, building kernels, porting Linux, custom recoveries.
I’m also interested in audio engineering, I’ve always liked everything related to audio, from music itself, to the hardware or software that was used to record and manipulate the sound.
